With millions of Black Owned Business directory across the nation, Black-Owned businesses have yet to have a full, comprehensive, and consistent site that connects customers to Black-Owned businesses, especially in southern states. But not anymore… Black Pages of the South has officially launched, and plans for a mobile app will be released soon.
Black Pages of the South is an online/digital directory that lists black owned business directory in the southern area of the United States. This directory covers Black business listings that range from grocery stores, beauty services, realtors, mechanics, professional services and beyond.
“We created Black Pages of the South to make it easier for our Black consumers to circulate the Black dollar,” says Tammy Combs, writer, innovator and entrepreneur is the publisher of Black Pages of the South. “Our mission and goal is to help to empower our community.”

Tammy Hartsfield, Publisher; Before being the Publisher of Black Pages of the South Mrs. Hartsfield owned and operated Southwest Georgia Black Pages as well as accomplishing Legal Studies and Marketing degrees. In previous positions, her responsibilities did include Sales and Management with a previous Black Pages personnel staff of 15. Mrs. Hartsfield is known throughout Georgia and Florida as a representative of Black Pages while servicing the community.

Janay Sharp, Editor-In-Chief; prior to establishing Black Pages of the South Miss Sharp had always been in the Sales and Marketing profession. She also has many years of experience with Public Relations with a specialty in Social Media. Establishing Black Pages of the South directory stemmed from her working directly with customers and listening to feedback of effective ways to cater to our niche market.

Ashley Tucker, Executive Editor; Ashley has previously owned and operated a small business in Sales and Hospitality fields. Ms.Tucker has extensive experience in dealing with the public and in sales. Ms. Tucker is also skilled in the area of business finance. Developing Black Pages of the South was always Ms. Tucker’s destination due to her assisting, as a child, her mother who has been a Black Pages Publisher for over 20 years.
